Your saved recovery code starts the process, but cannot reset the account by itself. We also send a short-lived confirmation to your verified email. Recovery restores sign-in and replaces your collaboration identity. Existing workspaces stay locked until you restore an owned vault with its master password or a vault owner approves shared access again; you can start fresh in the meantime.
